Linux Box - No Windoz here

Apache 2.0, PHP 5, & MySQL 5

Setup and Install
I believe you some of you are having trouble install and setup of Apache, PHP, & MySQL. I have had trouble finding the install, setup, and understanding what is posted. Here is a step by step setup.
    Apache 2.0.55
  1. Download Apache MSI
  2. download to a folder on desktop i.e. download
  3. find icon apache_2.0.55-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi
  4. double click on it
  5. install screen box will appear
  6. after 2 next button is the server info
  7. just put any name you want
  8. open firefox and type localhost
  9. if you see Apache on the screen your did it
    PHP 5.1.2
  1. Download PHP
  2. download to a folder on desktop i.e. download
  3. This will be a zip file
    MySQL 5.0.18
  1. Download MySQL
  2. unzip mysql-5.0.18-win32.zip
  3. find setup.exe
  4. double click on it
  5. install screen box will appear
  6. typical - next
  7. install - half way create free account
  8. it free no worries fill * only
  9. configuration wizard
  10. detailed configuration - next
  11. dedicated MySQl - next
  12. Multifunctional - next
  13. C: - next
  14. tcp/ip - next
  15. Service - next
  16. enter password - next
  17. execute - notice my.ini
