Knoppix is a Linux OS small in size and MythTV is like having your own DVR (digital video recorder). DVR boxes your get from COX or Timewarner. Another type of DVR is Tivo by Direct TV. What is a DVR you say? You can record 2 shows at the same time but you have to watch one if you have the tv on. You can record 1 show while watching another one. You have an option to record your favorite tv show series. This is then saved on a hard drive and you can view it later or keep them. You now can make your own DVR for FREE with an old PC you have. All you need is a hard and a tv video card.
